Christopher, a 5th grade student in Mrs. Kaminski's 5th grade class, received the honor of first place of all Ocoee students who participated in the Black History Essay Contest. The prompt "I have a dream..." allowed students to share their knowledge of Martin Luther King and explore their own dreams. Thornebrooke's 2nd and 3rd place winners, Noah and Ethan, also attended the ceremony at Ocoee City Hall. Congratulations, boys!
